DigiStix 2 is a drum machine and sampler plugin that is AUv3 compatible, making it suitable for integration into your preferred DAW platform.

This latest version of DigiStix introduces several improvements compared to its predecessor, notably the enhanced capability to accommodate up to 64 samples per drum kit with 5 layers per pad. The interface has been revamped significantly for iPad devices to optimize full-screen utilization, featuring a popular MPC-style 4x4 pad layout with 4 sample banks. Additionally, DigiStix 2 offers enhanced control over multi-sample layers, allowing for individual volume and pitch adjustments for layers, as well as global pitch and tune settings - all conveniently manageable from the new sample window.

Previously, each pad included effect sends for internal reverb and delay effects; now this functionality can be directed to external buses 9 and 10 for integration with external effects processing.

Controller editing is now seamlessly integrated into the main display, allowing for in-place editing without the need for interface scrolling. The updated version also supports additional effect controllers. A newly introduced context-aware control window enables swift adjustment of pad settings without the requirement for popup windows.

DigiStix 2 now offers support for GM and original DS drum kit layouts, accompanied by a sophisticated multi-layer Auto Sampler capable of automating the recording of new GM-compatible drum kits directly from hardware sources. It maintains 100% backward compatibility with the original application and serves as a seamless drop-in replacement.

An added drag-and-drop feature facilitates direct sampling on specific layers, as well as immediate sample preview and editing. Users can easily create new kits by combining banks from existing ones into a consolidated mega kit or employ non-destructive referencing to include sounds from other kits.

The revamped randomize feature enables users to randomize individual instruments or within specific banks. Additionally, the newly incorporated continuous MIDI learn mode streamlines custom mapping processes.
